THE
BVL -- looking for a few good men. If you live in the NYC tri-state area and are looking to
join a cool f2f Strat league, check the BVL (in its 26th season; see http://www.bvlaction.com). We
use Super Advanced rules mostly, plus others, i.e., injury chart (Paul
O'Neill, Hank Blalock careers cut short), brawl chart (Guillermo Mota
is one SOB); we have rainouts; we pay our players (don't worry, in
shekels), draft minor leaguers, etc. We're looking to make some
contacts for possible backup GMs; there’s whisper of expansion in a
couple of years. This is a league of gentlemen and of well played
games. We play a 70-game schedule; we use Hal to play out meaningless
games. We have current owners living in NYC/New
Jersey/Westchester. Once in, you will become an equal member and part
of a fraternity of baseball fans. Contact jd at diazjesus@aol.com
