'16-'17 Golden State Warriors vs. '95-'96 Bulls- CLASH OF THE TITANS

The NBA Finals rubber match didn't go the way Cavs fans were hoping but the outcome was pretty predictable if you've been watching the season unfold. But the big question on everyone's mind was how this Warriors team would stack up against the legendary '95-'96 Bulls team.

If you're an "MJ is the GOAT" type of person, according to our SIM — not good.

Game 1:

SCORING SUMMARY              1  2  3  4    T

GOLDEN STATE                35 29 16 32  112
CHICAGO                     28 22 27 31  108

MJ's 32 weren't enough to overcome Curry's 39 points and 22 more from KD

Game 2:

SCORING SUMMARY              1  2  3  4    T
GOLDEN STATE                27 26 32 43  128
CHICAGO                     25 34 28 34  121

MJ again scored 32 but fell short as Steph went for 38 and Klay came alive with 24.

Game 3:

SCORING SUMMARY              1  2  3  4    T
CHICAGO                     26 26 18 20   90
GOLDEN STATE                21 21 34 28  104

MJ scored 25, Scottie scored 20 but the Bulls didn't get much else and lost this must-win Game 3 by 14 behind a balanced attack by the Warriors with 5 players in double figures.

Game 4:

SCORING SUMMARY              1  2  3  4    T
CHICAGO                     31 34 23 39  127
GOLDEN STATE                37 27 36 44  144

MJ exploded for 50 but Scottie and the rest of the Bulls had a rough night and again, while Steph led the way with 32, 5 Warriors scored in double figures to close out this shorter-than-expected series.

As you can see, it was a clean sweep and not even mighty #23 could slow down the Warriors all-time firepower.

Jordan staked his claim to the all-time greatest finals performer, averaging 34.8 for the series, while Curry was right behind him with 33.5 a game. KD didn't quite live up to his 2017 Finals performance, averaging 17.5 per game but it was enough to maybe dethrone the Bulls as the greatest team of all time.
