1992-93 Basketball Season Roster
- Chicago wins 3rd straight NBA title
- Jordan’s 7th straight scoring title ties Chamberlain
- Top rookie Shaquille O’Neal: 23.4 ppg, 13.9 rpg
Route 66: Not since 1966 had a team (Boston) won three NBA championships in a row. Not since then had anyone challenged Wilt Chamberlain’s record of seven straight scoring titles. But Michael Jordan and his Bulls tied both marks this year, though Phoenix (62) and New York (60) won more season games. Phoenix traded for Charles Barkley, who became MVP with 25.6 ppg and 12.2 rpg and led the Suns into the playoff finals.
