Baltimore (69-93): Only New York, Texas and Boston hit more than Baltimore’s 191 home runs in the AL, but no team gave up nearly as many as the Orioles’ 210 surrendered and Baltimore’s 4.89 ERA was by far the league’s worst. A lineup with eight double-figure homer hitters had slugging 3B Mark Reynolds (37 HR) and SS J.J. Hardy (30 HR), and two-way talented OFs Adam Jones (.280-25-83) and Nick Markakis (.284-15-73). C Matt Wieters fulfilled his promise with 22 HR and top defense.
