New York-NL (77-85): Injuries devastated the New York lineup, and yet the Mets led the NL with a .264 batting average and 309 doubles and were second with a .335 on-base average. NL batting champ Jose Reyes (.337, 39 SB) and 1B-2B Daniel Murphy (.320) had a lot to do with that. Young Dillon Gee led the pitchers with a 13-6 record.
