Robinson Cano (.302-28-118), Mark Teixeira (39 HR, 111 RBI ) and Brett Gardner (49 SB) added to a tough lineup. C.C. Sabathia (1908, 3.00 ERA, 230 Ks) and rookie Ivan Nova (16-4) sparkled as starting pitchers.
