2012 Baseball Bonus Players

  • New, 189-card set supplements regular and additional players
  • 82 individual pitcher-batting cards - the first ever such cards from Strat-O-Matic
  • Low-use veterans like Mariano Rivera and rookies like Jurickson Profar

For the first time, Strat-O-Matic is releasing a supplemental card set beyond the 1,000-plus players already included in the regular set, mixed-player group and additional players. This 189-card set is called “Bonus Players” and includes rookies, injured stars and others who had fewer at-bats and innings pitched than the players in the other sets.

That’s players like Yankees closer Mariano Rivera, whose season ended early because of injury, and Texas’ top rookie prospect, infielder Jurickson Profar. Numerous other recognizable veterans and top prospects are in this set. So are 82 pitchers who are being given their own batting cards for the first time. In recent years, computer players have had this option. Now board gamers can have it, too.

Whether you are conducting a season replay or want those specialty players to add to your stock teams and draft leagues, this set is ideal for the ultimate in realism.

189, two-sided cards for basic, advanced and super-advanced play
