You’ll have coaching fun – and challenges – galore playing a season where the football flew all over the field in a year of record offense, and yet, where two-thirds of NFL games were within one score in the fourth quarter.

Denver, with QB Peyton Manning throwing for a record 55 TDs and 5,477 yards, became the NFL’s first 600-point team, as a record five players scored at least 10 touchdowns. The league as a whole set a record for TDs and numerous players set NFL and franchise records. Among them: Cleveland WR Josh Gordon (first ever with back-to-back 200-plus-yard receiving days), New England RB Legarrette Blount (club record 334 all-purpose yards in one game), Pittsburgh RB Le’veon Bell (broke Franco Harris’ franchise record for yards from scrimmage by a rookie) and Washington WR Pierre Garcon (113 catches, most in Redskins history).

In Philadelphia’s new, record-setting up-tempo offense, QB Nick Foles and RB LeSean McCoy became the first tandem since 1965 San Diego to lead the league in passer rating and rushing yards. New Orleans’ Drew Brees eclipsed 5,000 passing yards for a record fourth time, connecting with TE Jimmy Graham for 16 TDs.

Amazingly, Seattle allowed only 14 points a game and its physical defense dominated Denver in the Super Bowl. The Seahawks had offense, too: Russell Wilson became the third quarterback in history to pass for more than 50 touchdowns over his first two seasons. Marshawn Lynch ran for 1,257 yards.
