HERE IS A LIST OF THE NEW FEATURES IN VERSION 5:

1) Support for Microsoft Vista(tm) Operating System has been added.

2) A Show Board Game Info feature has been added. When using this feature readings from the Action Deck will be displayed in the play-by-play box.

3) A new Draft-O-Matic Report has been added. When you use Draft-O-Matic the result of your draft is now stored in the Print folder for your league so that you can reference a complete list of the draft.

4) A new League Awards Report has been added to the League Statistics. This shows you the top ten vote getters for the League MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and the Sixth Man of the Year Awards.

5) Do not use Auto 3-Pointers - Support for this option has been added for this option. If this option is enabled then automatic three pointers will not be taken. Automatic three pointers are normally recommended since they are a computer enhancement to the game rules. However if you are a strict board game player, and wish to simulate the board game as closely as possible, you may wish to check this option to turn off automatic 3-pointers.

6) Blogging - Support has been added for the new blogger format.

7) The Computer Manager Report has been enhanced. Total minutes by position for eligible players has been added to the report. This will make it easier to determine if you have enough minutes eligible at each position.

8) A pbp.txt file is now installed into the main game directory by the installer. This file explains the codes used in the userpbp and baxter play-by-play files.

9) A list of Hot Keys (Keyboard Shortcuts) is now shown in the Help File.

10) A list of Leader Qualifications is now shown in the Help File.

11) New Seasons - Support for the 2006-07, 1981-82 and 1987-88 NBA seasons have been added to the program.

Bug Fixes -

1) Turnover (LF) and Turnover (C) results were being recorded as 2 turnovers in the stats package.

2) When using "Putback at Coach's Option" the game was not presenting the option while using "Human - Only Shots" but it was presenting the option while using "Human - Only Strategy". This has been reversed.

3) In play-by-email league sometimes players positioned inside on offense in an imported computer manager would automatically be moved outside at the start of the game.

4) When generating a computer manager if "Offense" was selected but "Player Grid" and "Inside" were not selected then the offense would always be set to Halfcourt for the entire game.

5) The "Most Productive Performances" report was incorrectly computing the Production rating.

6) The "Team Leaders" report was not displaying traded players, even in the raw totals section.

7) The League Manager was only sorting on last name, not on last name and first name.

8) The Draft-O-Matic Start Draft button was not always enabled.

9) In Draft-O-Matic if a team already had 25 players then the report would show him as drafting a player that was already drafted, even though no player was added to the team.

10) When a player fouled out on an offensive foul the game would sometimes indicate the foul was on the defender.

Data Fixes -

Note: These data fixes cannot be used for seasons already in-progress. You must reinstall a fresh copy of these rosters in order to see these changes.

1) 1976-77 Bobby Jones (Denver), height was incorrect - it should be 6' 9".

2) 2005-06 Andrew Bogut (Milwaukee), outside shooting column roll of 11 should be "X, 1" instead of a foul.

3) 2005-06 Detroit Team Defense, Normal 3-Point column, roll of 3 should be "X", roll of 5 should be blank.

4) 1980-81 Rory Sparrow (New Jersey), "O, 1-4" in fastbreak column on roll of 10 should be "X, 1-4"

5) 1980-81 Bobby Jones (Philadelphia), Fastbreak X-Column should be "2-4"

6) 1980-81 schedule had New York playing 2 games on October 21st. The game against Boston should be played on October 23rd.
