Gamers Can Relive a Dozen Seasons with
Four Games

Strat-O-Matic’s lineup of new and historic seasons is among its most extensive summer offerings yet, with a dozen seasons for its four football, hockey and basketball games.
Pro Football
Version 7 of the pro-football computer game comes with the 2006 National Football League season.
Keeping with recent tradition, SOM again is offering three historic seasons:
n 1969 NFL and AFL
n 1978 NFL
n 1992 NFL
In card format, SOM again offers six teams for each historic season.
1969: Super Bowl
champion
1978: Super Bowl
champion
1992: Super Bowl
champion
The computer game will have all teams from each season.
College Football
Version 3 of the college-football computer game comes with the 2006 NCAA season.
Hockey
Version 7 of the hockey computer game comes with the 2006-07 NHL season.
SOM once again reproduces three historic seasons:
n 1956-57 NHL
n 1965-66 NHL
n 1979-80 NHL
The “six pack” of carded teams for each season includes the entire NHL for the two Original Six seasons, 1956-57 and 1965-66.
For 1979-80, the carded teams are the
Stanley Cup champion New York Islanders (91 points) and runner-up
Historic hockey card sets come with a print utility that contains un-carded teams and extra players for all teams.
Basketball
Version 5 of the basketball computer game comes with the 2006-07 NBA season.
Two historic seasons will be available for the computer game only:
n 1981-82 NBA
n 1987-88 NBA
With these two seasons, gamers now can play on the computer with every season in Strat-O-Matic’s modern basketball format, which debuted with the 1980-81 season.
