 2) Interface - Additionally, the new Miscellaneous Option Main App Font can be used to alter the font size for the rest of the Graphical Interface Version of the program.  This affects everything other than the Game Screen.

 3) Animate SADV Fielding Chart - watch the result flash on the Fielding and the Error sections of the X-CHART!

 18) ROSTER IMPROVEMENTS AND CORRECTIONS - An amazing effort by the ROSTER CORRECTIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS TEAM brings you these upgraded rosters.  Some fifty seasons have been improved.  Each of these seasons had their Computer Manager listings corrected, and their Starter Schedules verified and corrected as needed.  In addition, each season had other changes as described in the Help File.

 19) ACTUAL PITCHER BATTING CARDS - The ROSTER CORRECTIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS TEAM not only made the above improvements, but they also have provided an enormous service to the Strat community by making available  Actual Pitcher Batting Cards for over 70 seasons (note - these are packaged along with the rosters and are designated as *PHC* for Pitchers Hitting Cards when using the Roster Installation function)!

 20) PLAY-BY-PLAY IMPROVEMENTS

§         The nickname file has been expanded yet again by our nickname gurus Ren Petrie and Scott Nichols -- there are over 200 new player specific play-by-plays.

§         All 30 teams files edited and updated for 2007 season.  Note: this requires the purchase of the optional team specific play-by-play disk.

 21) BUGS FIXED

§         When playing a non-league game if As-Played was set in the league then an error would occur.

§         Bug where games were disappearing from the schedule has been addressed.

§         League that had "gaps" in them (due to deleted teams) were experiencing serious problems with the new interface.

§         If the winning run was on third base on a sac-fly to rightfield, and there was a runner on second-base, the option to have him advance to third-base was still showing up.

§         When using the Lineup Evaluator, if a pitching slot was not correctly defined in a team's computer manager there was no way to exit (the error message would continue to appear).

§         Fixed a divide by zero when viewing the League Leaders report.

§         Fixed a divide by zero when viewing the Team Usage report.

§         Fixed a divide by zero when starting a Netplay Playoff game.

§         Fixed a lineup dialog bug where a position player could accidentally end up being shown both at his position and on the mound if a particular sequence was followed during a double-switch.

§         When using Actual Pitcher Batting Cards the wrong batting information was sometimes showing in the Matchup box.

§         Anaheim Stadium had no fence distances or heights specified in the notebook.

IMPORTANT NOTES

§         As with previous versions, most of this year's new features will not be available in Netplay due to technical restrictions.

§         As of Version 12 of the game, all new development has been focused solely on the Graphical Interface Version.  The Legacy Version is the old interface version of the game which is BASEBALL.EXE.  The Graphical Interface Version is SOMBB.EXE.

§         There are some older machines that might have trouble running the Graphical Interface Version.  Therefore, for a limited time we will also distribute the Legacy Version of the game.  In essence, this is the old interface version of the game frozen as of V11, with the exception of support being added for newly released seasons.

§         A few customers have contacted us saying that they cannot run the Graphical Interface Version on their older machines.  Please note that we do not anticipate future support for the Legacy Version beyond this year. Microsoft has dropped support for older Operating Systems.  Because of this you should upgrade to a machine that has a minimum of XP if you have not done so already.
