HOCKEY V7 NEW FEATURES

 1) VISTA SUPPORT

We have added support for the Microsoft Vista ™ Operating System

 2) NEW MAX PASSING RULE

By popular demand we’ve added a new Max Rule, the “Alternate Passing System”.  This is based upon the  "Judy Goldberg Charts"!

3) NEW MAX RULE – LOW PENALTY MINUTES

Certain players have very low real-life penalty minutes.  This system limits penalties against these players so that they get more realistic penalty minute totals.

4) IMPROVED BOARD/COMPUTER GAME STATISTICAL ACCURACY

We've re-evaluated our card-making process for hockey and have improved the accuracy of both the board and computer games as a result.

5) QUICKPLAY

Quickplay has replaced the Quick Finish feature.  You can now quickplay to any point in the game instead of being forced to play all the way to the end.

6) PLAYER PICTURES HAVE BEEN IMPROVED

The player picture now displays as soon as the player gets the puck.  This is especially noticeable during shootouts.

7) LINE CHANGE DIALOG IMPROVED

We now show the opponent's offense and defense ratings on the line change dialog.

8) SCHEDULE GENERATOR GREATLY IMPROVED

The Schedule Generator now works for more combinations of conferences/divisions/teams.  For example, it now works for 24 teams in 2 conferences and 4 divisions.  It also now works for leagues that have a different number of teams in each division.

9) BLOGGING UPDATED

Support for the new Google™ Blogger  has been added.

10) PLAYER ID UPDATE

Ability to update a player's unique ID (for the encyclopedia) has been added to the Update Player dialog.

11)  NEW SEASONS

Support has been added for the following new seasons: 1956-57, 1965-66, 1979-80 and 2006-07.

BUGS FIXED IN HOCKEY V7

1) The hockey scheduler was not working properly if teams had been deleted from a league.

2) During a shootout, if animation was turned off but sound was turned on the goal.wav file was not played.

3) When using Offense Mode 3 and Defense Mode 2 the action deck had no Opponent Defense 4 readings but instead had an extra Opponent Defense 3 reading.

4) In the goalie section of the Strat-O-Matic Detail Report the rebounds allowed and face-offs forced team totals were switched around.

5) Too few Misconduct penalties were being called.

6) Scoring chances were being shown incorrectly on the Draft-O-Matic Teams Tab page.
