3-Minute Baseball: Reenacting Mr. October

This week’s 3-Minute Baseball features one of the greatest single-game World Series performances of all-time. In Game 6 of the 1977 World Series, Reggie Jackson became just the second player in baseball history to hit 3 homeruns in a World Series game (Babe Ruth was the other). The feat has been accomplished just twice since then (Albert Pujols in 2011 and Pablo Sandoval in 2012). Jackson’s three homers led the Bronx Bombers to an 8-4 win, clinching the World Series for New York.
