“Fast-action” cards capture the free-flowing nature of pro basketball, create excitement and also keep track of time. In Strat-O-Matic, the dice aren’t rolled for shots until the Action Deck reveals who has control, either as the ball-handler or the recipient of a playmaking pass. These cards will reveal fouls and the great pass that finds the open man. Four additional cards inserted into the shuffled deck show how many minutes are left in the quarter.
