1996 proved to be fruitful for fans of the Bronx Bombers, as they saw their team win its first of four World Series titles in what would be a dynasty-like five year span. The Yanks defeated Atlanta, known for its dominant pitching, with an impressive display of youth, veteran leadership and clutch hitting.
