Dear Strat-O-Matic Community,
You may remember back in January when we unveiled a whole new pricing structure, as well as a partial rebranding of our baseball products.
With the summer months upon us, I am exciting to announce a similar plan for our new football, hockey and basketball products.
First and foremost, the first day to place pre-orders for the new football, hockey and basketball products will be: Monday, July 9th. To clarify, all new Windows games and/or season rosters will be available for pre-order online, though the authorization codes and downloads will not be issued until the new games are released to the public.
To review an announcement we made last month, here is an outline of our estimated product release schedule for the next few months:
Early August: New Pro Football Products
Late August: New College Football Windows Game
Late September: New Hockey Products
Late September: New Basketball Cards
Late October: New Basketball Windows Game
Please note: timeframes for release are an approximation and can be subject to change.
As for the specific products being released, much like we did for baseball, you will notice that some of the product names have been changed, as well as the prices. One of the changes is that “Upgrade” computer products/pricing will no longer be offered, creating a simplified and uniform list of products. While the pricing on some of our Windows products has increased, it is important to keep in mind that with the implementation of E-Delivery, there is no longer a shipping fee for Windows products.
As was established with the new baseball products, all Strat-O-Matic Windows products will continue to be distributed via E-Delivery. For those who would like a CD-ROM of the game as well, a CD can be shipped to you for a $10 surcharge.
