1950 updated would have been my second choice.
But what we really need is an improved schedule maker for the leagues.
I’m running 4 leagues and the schedule maker is terrible. People complain constantly about it.

Thanks for the survey. Please update the 70s and (especially) the 60s mystery card games on 365. The games would be SO much better, and I would spend SO much more money on them if you added the super-advanced seasons of 1961, 1962, 1968, 1969. 1971, 1972, 1973, 1977, 1980 and 1982 to them. The generic cards currently being used for those seasons are inaccurate and unexciting. 🙂

1952 is the only card set missing from 1948 to 2020.A great 7 game World Series won by the New York Yankees over the Brooklyn Dodgers occurred that year in which Mickey Mantle hit the first 2 of his record 18 World Series home runs.I hope this will complete that run.

schedule maker is serviceable but not up to par with the awesomeness of the game.

make a module that opens up a full screen calendar with a sidebar showing each team. mouse over a team to see their schedule for the month. reason for the suggestion is to see the days off. the way it is now there are 3 days rest for teams and that never happens in real life. i don’t know if that 3 days off happens several times a year. schedules should be like mlb, monday thru wednesday with thursday off then friday thru sunday with monday off then tuesday thru sunday. i know developing a piece of software to do that is difficult and as my computer programming 101 instructor said i sacrificed a goat to get a program to add one plus one. it’s difficult and mlb uses super computers. copy several years of mlb schedules and make the program will in teams that way.

Here’s the problem with the pre-1969 seasons. The scoring rules have not been updated to reflect the rules prior to 1969. For example, sacrifice flies were not made an official stat until 1954. Although they had existed for several years in the early years, by 1934, a scoring flyball was just scored as an out. Additionally, the rule allowing a pitcher to be charged individually with earned runs that don’t count in the team total came into being for the 1969 season. Prior to that season, all unearned runs scored in an inning were counted as unearned runs. These two rule changes not being included in the simulation can result in slightly lower batting averages and slightly higher ERAs for individual pitchers prior to 1969. I realize these are nit-picking concerns, but SOM revised the basketball rules for earlier seasons to better reflect the rules in place at the time.

My favorites would be 1952, 1947, and 1946 in that order to finish out all the post-war seasons with 1952 first to fill out 1948- present.

I hope the sales of the new 1968 football season card set were strong enough to encourage SOM to give your fans a 1967-’68 basketball board game card set. In fact, any NBA season from 1960 to 1979 would be fine with me. You’ve given us the baseball, football, and hockey card sets we want, how about stepping up to the plate and delivering basketball? Heck, I would love to see a ABA season card set as well. Strat’s basketball board game is probably the best playing board game your company has designed yet, and I’m a baseball and football guy!

How About Roster Sheets For Football Old Timer Seasons? Does Brand New 1968 Complete Football Season Come With A Roster Sheet?

  9. Norm Crosby says:

Would love to see Strat re-release the 1975 and 1978 baseball seasons in SADV cards. The prices gouged in the secondary market for these seasons are absurd and taking money that would otherwise be spent on the company itself. With the growth in interest in the last few years, the demographics of the returning customer to Strat would assure these products would sell out immediately.

    1. testacey says:

      Yeah, what Norm said.

1975 & 1978, (Both Sadv) Were Already Made By Strat!!

      1. testacey says:

I took it to mean that he would like to see 1975 and 1978 sadv available again, perhaps for a limited time as part of the monthly surprise releases. Probably will not happen, but as someone who sold his 1978 sadv set years ago and regrets it, it’s something to at least hope for.

Just completing 1930 replay and will then launch 1938 (already played 1934). I was hoping for a complete carded post-war run of past seasons, including 1946, 1947, and 1952, but guessing that re-releases of more recent seasons are easier to do and more profitable. I have five post-war sets that I have not played yet, so I will be busy for the foreseeable future. Thank you for the best baseball game ever!

  11. Johnny says:

Baseball Heroes 4 would be nice, 1946 season but 1947 isn’t bad, CHD based on best 5 years pitching and best 7 years hitting with realistic fielding ratings. I will be buy updated advanced to super advanced past seasons, but prefer newly done older past seasons. However; usually buy stuff along the way when interested. Strictly a computer windows gamer now, no C & D.

  12. Colts19 says:

I would like to see a continuous line of super-advanced from 1946 – the present. Also appreciate the Baseball Heroes series and would like to see that extended.
One suggestion would be to give pitchers in the Heroes and HoF computer sets personalized hitting cards, so that they can be dropped into non-DH draft leagues that use pitcher’s hitting batter cards. Making all teams use 1-8W/N cards because a few pitchers don’t have the ratings is a hassle

  13. BYRONFULK says:

Of the more modern seasons I would also love to see 1976 in Super advanced.
