If playing a single conference is your choice, the SEC ruled again with champion Georgia, runner-up Alabama, other top-25 teams in Arkkanas, Ole Miss and Texas A&M, plus 10-win Kentucky.  The Big Ten (12-2 Michigan, 11-2 Ohio State, 11-2 Michigan State plus top-25 Wisconsin, Penn State, Purdue, Minnesota and Iowa) and Big 12 (12-2 Baylor, 12-2 Oklahoma State, 11-2 Oklahoma plus top-25 Kansas State and Iowa State) had fantastic finishes.
