Full Summary

It’s hard to imagine a more memorable NBA season. Repeat MVP Stephen Curry hit a record-shattering 402 three-pointers and led the league with 30.1 ppg, his defending champ Golden State Warriors went 39-2 at home and won a record 73 games, then were one win away from a repeat title when … Cleveland won the city’s first major pro sports championship since 1964 by becoming the first team to overcome a 3-games-to-1 deficit with a last-minute victory in Game 7. Finals MVP LeBron James had his third crown after winning two with Miami.

This breath-taking season also featured a 40-1 home performance by San Antonio, whose 67 wins would have dominated most seasons. Six teams won at least 53 games. Twenty men topped 20 points per game.

Headliners Curry and Klay Thompson, James and Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and, Russell Westbrook, and Kawhi Leonard led the big winners, but James Harden, Anthony Davis, Paul George and others had huge seasons. They’re all here. So are emerging stars Isaiah Thomas of Boston, Brook Lopez of Brooklyn, Jimmy Butler of Chicago, Kemba Walker of Charlotte and Andre Drummond of Detroit.
