Full Summary

Atlanta played in its fourth World Series of the ‘90s, but the Yankees won three in the decade to the Braves’ one. This was the difference maker. Atlanta did have the best season with 103 wins. Arizona was next with 100 in only its second season, thanks to Cy Young winner Randy Johnson (17-9, 2.48, 364 Ks) and sluggers Matt Williams (.303-35-142) and Luis Gonzalez (.336-26-111).
