Full Summary

There never was a Major League season that begged for more “What-If?” imagination than the 60-game 2020 season. Could the Dodgers maintain their dominance all season? Could Luke Voit, on a 59-HR pace, keep it up, or even top 60?  Could slumping stars such as Kris Bryant, Javier Baez and Christian Yelich turned it around individually and lead their teams to more success?

Strat-O-Matic gamers will have better answers to those questions if they play with this unique “Imagined” set based both on the actual 2020 statistics, blended with projected norms for each player (based on their history and age). Those gamers may find this set more suitable for a 162-game experience.

Each player will have the same “top-of-card” ratings for fielding, base running, pitcher endurance and such. But the body of each card will be based on the blended batting and pitching stats that, in many cases, will make players more strongly resemble the careers they have assembled prior to 2020. After all, baseball history is filled with examples of players who turned around first-half slumps to become the stars they had always been. So is history full of 60-game wonders who wilted in long summers as the law of averages leveled their gaudy promise.

You will see all that and more in this unique set that will become a historic collectible in its own right.
